It all started when…

I found a Canon AE-1 Program, dusty, but pristine, in my grandmother's closet. I asked if I could have it and promptly enrolled in photography class in high school. There I learned the basics and eventually how to develop film and make prints. I felt a tingly feeling in my stomach as I watched my photos come to fruition on glossy paper submerged in chemicals under an amber glow. While I'm many years removed from those days, I still feel that tingle as I begin processing photos digitally or starting a video edit with nothing but hours of raw footage at my disposal. I can't imagine myself doing anything else but this.
